Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Pipefitter

Job Summary

We are seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing piping systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, welding techniques, and the ability to work with different materials. The Pipefitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all piping systems are functional and meet safety standards.

Duties

• Assemble and install piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
• Build and rig pipelines for various applications, including fire sprinkler fitting.
• Execute pipe threading operations as needed for installation and repair.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems to maintain operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within safety guidelines.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
• Experience with fire sprinkler fitting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in various conditions.
