Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities

• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and modify plumbing components.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and field service personnel to coordinate project tasks effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with building codes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a valid license or certification.
• Strong knowledge of construction plumbing practices, schematics, and mechanical systems including HVAC integration.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and schematics reading.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimates.
• Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in remodeling, maintenance, or handyman tasks.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pipe installation techniques such as threading and assembly.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
