Journeyman Plumber

Experienced Licensed Plumber — Duplex Rehab (Metairie)

I'm rehabbing a two-unit duplex in Metairie and need a licensed plumber for a defined set of jobs across both units. Work is scoped into separate packages and paid per package on completion and inspection.

Scope of work

• Sewer main repipe — replacing failing cast iron / terracotta line (phased into sections)
• Subsurface drainage tie-ins (drain lines, yard grates) where they connect to the plumbing system
• Two water heaters — one per unit, supply and install
• Fixture sets, both units — toilets, faucets, supply lines, shut-offs
• General rough-in repairs and code corrections as found

What you need to have

• Active Louisiana State Plumbing Board license (journeyman or master), or able to work under a master who can pull the filing
• Ability to pull the Jefferson Parish plumbing filing and carry the work through inspection
• Your own tools, transportation, and materials handling
• Certificate of insurance — general liability and workers' comp (or a valid comp exemption)
• References from recent comparable jobs

Terms

• 1099 independent contractor; W-9 before first payment
• Priced per package — send me your number per scope item or a bundled bid
• Paid on completion and passed inspection of each package
