Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential and commercial buildings.
• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
• Work with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards related to plumbing and gas piping systems.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on existing plumbing infrastructure to prevent future issues.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing activities during remodeling or new construction projects.
• Conduct heavy lifting safely during pipe installation or material handling while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting issues related to HVAC systems or other building utilities connected to plumbing.

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial settings.
• Valid journeyman plumber license or equivalent certification demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems.
