Journeyman Plumber

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites or during remodeling projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure efficient workflow on-site
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards while maintaining a clean work environment

Skills

• Proven experience in construction plumbing, including pipe installation, repair, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other construction tools
• Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and material estimations
• Familiarity with remodeling projects, maintenance work, and field service operations in commercial or residential settings
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of schematics related to plumbing systems and HVAC units
