Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber and/or Gas Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will perform high-quality plumbing work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. This role requires expertise in pipefitting, system diagnostics, and a commitment to delivering excellent craftsmanship in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities

* Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and related equipment, in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and project requirements. * Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, or system malfunctions, and implement effective solutions. * Ensure all work complies with the International Plumbing Code (IPC), local and state plumbing codes, and company safety policies. * Collaborate with project managers, apprentices, and other trades to complete projects on time and within budget. * Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. * Document work performed, including time logs, material usage, and project progress reports. * Mentor and guide apprentices or less experienced team members, providing training on plumbing techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

* Valid Journeyman Plumber or Gas Fitter license in Alabama. * Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber or equivalent role. * Proficiency in installing and repairing plumbing systems, including copper, PVC, PEX, and cast-iron piping. * Strong knowledge of the U...
