Journeyman Plumber

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment on commercial and residential construction sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs
• Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly to ensure secure connections in complex piping networks
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing installation activities within project timelines
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning during installation processes
• Assist with remodeling, maintenance tasks, and handyman duties as needed to support overall project progress

Experience

• Proven field service experience in construction plumbing or related trades with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and installation techniques
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, and working with heavy lifting equipment on construction sites
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics interpretation, and mechanical components is a plus
