Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Mechanic / Pipefitter to oversee installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of piping systems and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, extensive hands-on experience, and the ability to direct crews while ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities * Lead and supervise pipefitting and mechanical crews on job sites

* Install, repair, and maintain piping systems including industrial, commercial, and mechanical systems

* Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings

* Coordinate workflow, materials, and equipment needs

* Troubleshoot mechanical and piping issues efficiently

* Ensure work meets company standards, project specifications, and safety requirements

* Perform inspections and preventative maintenance

* Train and mentor team members

* Maintain accurate job documentation and reports

* Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and customers

Qualifications * Minimum of 5+ years of pipefitting/mechanical experience

* Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred

* Strong knowledge of piping systems, mechanical equipment, and hand/power tools

* Ability to read blueprints and schematics

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Valid driver’s license required

* OSHA certification or additional trade certifications preferred
