Lead Plumber

Bioair Mechanical & Plumbing is a rapidly growing commercial HVAC and plumbing contractor serving multifamily communities, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities throughout San Diego County.

We're looking for an experienced Plumbing Service Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally with customers, and can work independently while being supported by a strong dispatch and management team.

Hours range

is not capped at 40. OT / On-call available

Compensation

is not capped at 45. Can be increased based on skill and knowledge

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing systems in multifamily and commercial properties
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently with minimal supervision
• Repair and replace:
• Water heaters
• Toilets
• Faucets
• Angle stops
• Flush valves
• Mixing valves
• Water piping
• Drain piping
• Sewer lines
• Leak detection and repairs
• Drain cleaning and sewer stoppages
• Slab leak repairs
• Underground piping repairs and reroutes
• Read and interpret plumbing plans when needed
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle
• Communicate professionally with tenants, property managers, and office staff
• Follow all company safety procedures

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plumbing service experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience working in multifamily and commercial facilities
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls
• Experience with underground piping, reroutes, and slab leak repairs is highly preferred
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in crawl spaces, roofs, mechanical rooms, and confined spaces
• Must be dependable, professional, and customer-focused
