Lead Plumber

Mikes Mechanical is looking for a Journeyman Plumber.

The Plumber will provide routine maintenance and service to residential customers as well as trouble shoot issues and provide solutions.

Essential Job Functions

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures
• Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
• Use an iPad to create customer invoices and communicate with the office.
• Follow building plans and blueprints.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in your company vehicle.
• Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Hours

This is a non-exempt position. Work hours to be determined based on the needs of the business. Overtime may be required based on the needs of the business.

Observe all company procedures and safety rules. Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have basic computer skills and be able to utilize mobile device throughout the workday.

Education and Experience

Previous experience as a plumber or enrollment in appropriate schooling (determined by management).

Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.
