Responsibilities

• Lead and execute plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance on construction sites, ensuring all work adheres to local codes and safety standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install piping systems and related mechanical components
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding gear, and other construction tools efficiently to complete tasks
• Perform construction estimating for plumbing projects by assessing materials, labor needs, and project scope to support bidding processes
• Conduct on-site inspections to verify proper installation of plumbing systems, including HVAC connections and remodeling projects
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate work schedules and ensure seamless project execution
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics, maintenance logs, and compliance reports

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction plumbing systems in commercial or residential settings
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical diagrams
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and basic math calculations for measurements and estimations
