Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and systems.
• Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks while adhering to safety standards and building codes.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues related to leaks, blockages, or mechanical failures; troubleshoot problems using mechanical knowledge.
• Utilize construction site experience to coordinate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC for seamless project execution.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when handling large pipes or fixtures; perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed; ensure compliance with all safety protocols.

Experience

• Valid license as a plumber with proven field service experience in construction or maintenance environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction plumbing techniques, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
