We're currently seeking a full-time, hourly, Plumber who is responsible for performing journey-level work on all water-related equipment and fixtures. The Plumber maintains all systems related to water supply, waste lines, water heaters, pumps, valves and grease traps. He or she performs general maintenance on all buildings and assists other Environmental Service departments when assigned or called upon.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of plumbing apprenticeship required
• Minimum of five years’ experience in the field of plumbing
• Strong mechanical ability and aptitude
• In depth knowledge in plumbing methods, principles and procedures including related codes, regulations and compliance
• Experience in water distribution and waste disposal in residential, commercial and institutional buildings
