Master Plumber

Duties

• Lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of domestic water systems, drainage, venting, and other plumbing components on construction sites.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
• Conduct detailed construction estimating for plumbing projects, including material take-offs and labor costs.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, building code analysis standards, and construction regulatory requirements.
• Supervise a team of plumbers and apprentices, providing guidance on technical tasks such as pipe threading, welding, assembly, and use of hand tools or power tools.
• Perform site inspections to verify plumbing system integrity, troubleshoot issues using mechanical knowledge, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to facilitate smooth workflow on construction sites.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work progress through schematics review, field service reports, and compliance checklists.
