Overview

The Pipefitter is responsible for working on commercial mechanical projects ranging from office buildings and hotels to hospitals and institutional facilities, handling laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical piping systems, and pipe supports. Responsibilities: * Reads and understands isometric drawings. * Ability to layout, miter fittings and fabrication of branch saddles. * Ability to fit open butt-weld and socket-weld joints.

Qualifications: #### Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Experience in assembling and installing a variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper, and plastic.
• Ability to understand Mechanical contract drawings and shop drawings
• Ability to work with a team of 2-5 people
• Experience with mechanical pipe systems (Carbon steel)
