Medical Gas Plumber (Must be Med Gas Certified)

Duties

• Install, test, and commission medical gas piping systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Read and interpret detailed construction blueprints and mechanical schematics related to medical gas layouts
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding gear, and other construction tools to assemble and secure piping systems
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on existing medical gas infrastructure to ensure continuous operation
• Collaborate with project managers, HVAC specialists, electricians, and other trades to coordinate installation activities on construction sites
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
• Document work progress through detailed reports and logs for quality assurance and compliance purposes

Requirements

• Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing, including construction plumbing projects and remodeling work
• Strong mechanical knowledge of piping systems, schematics, HVAC components, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Hands-on experience with pipe threading, welding techniques, assembly, carpentry skills, and the use of various hand tools and power tools
