Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with all work related to HVAC/Mechanical/Industrial projects
• Measure and cut pipe according to requirements
• Soldering, brazing, threading pipe, grooving pipe, installing hangers as well as carbon steel pipe (up to 24”)
• Repairing malfunctions, breakages or leaks
• Testing pipe systems to ensure safety and functionality
• Communicate professionally with management, superintendent and customers
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Observe, report and correct unsafe work environments
• Collaborate with other workers to complete project
• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements

* 2-3 Years of experience fitting pipe

* Must have personal hand tools required for the position

* Present yourself in a professional manner

* Ability to communicate clearly with Foreman and follow direction

* Ability to show up on time, ready to work and in uniform

* Must successfully pass a background check

* Must successfully pass a drug test

* Ability to identify, install and repair mechanical pipe systems

* Ability to read blueprints

* Ability to recognize, set up and operate hand and power tools common to the trade as n...
