Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with all work related to HVAC/Mechanical/ Industrial projects.
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the trade as needed.
• Vitaulic grooving machine, overhead hoists, & general pipe fitting tools
• Follows all safety policies and procedures
• Communicate clearly with shop foreman and follow direction
• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.

Requirements

• Three years of field pipefitting experience to include all of the following: soldering, brazing, threading pipe, grooving pipe, installing hangers as well as carbon steel pipe (up to 24")
• Must have own hand tools required for the position
• Must be able to identify and install pipe grades and systems
• Ability to read blueprints
• Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing. Constant standing, walking, reaching and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25 lbs....
