Pipefitter

Description: Basic Functions:

• Aid in maximizing the profitability of the company by helping to complete construction on time and on budget and for the day-to-day operations of the construction site.
• Perform all duties assigned by the project manager or foreman, including: all fuel work at the sites.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that the quality of all work produced, for each project assigned, is more than the minimum established guidelines.
• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with clients.
• Inspect job site before, during and after completion of project.
• Monitor all activities and take any corrective action when necessary to assure quality completion of each project assigned.

* The Laborer-Pipefitter has the authority to carry out the duties assigned and requested by the onsite Foreman/Project Manager.

Measures of Performance

• Operational costs and expenses under your direct control are under budget every quarter. Corrective action is taken immediately to change adverse trends.
• Safety has been enforced on the job sites and serious accidents are kept to zero.

Working hours and conditions

* A Laborer-Pipefitter is required to work at least 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with appropriate meal and rest breaks. Longer hours may be required on an “As Needed” basis. Appropriate protective clothing and safety shoes are required.
