Pipefitter - Environmental Systems Installation

Overview: Our client is seeking experienced Pipefitters to support the installation of various In-Situ environmental systems, including groundwater treatment, dual-phase extraction, and injection systems. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on piping expertise in construction or landfill environments, and who are committed to safety, precision, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities:* Install and glue PVC piping * Fuse and install HDPE piping (landfill work highly valued) * Connect ductile iron piping using flanged and mechanical joints * Perform conduit and copper piping installations (brazing and sweating) * Construct manifold systems using Unistrut and other engineered supports * Install electrical pull boxes and underground vaults * Interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs for piping layouts and system components * Support field teams in wellhead installations and environmental system setup * Adhere to safe work practices and site-specific safety protocols * Maintain open communication with supervisors and crew members * Perform other duties as assigned by the site Superintendent

Required Skills & Attributes

* Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction * Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and flow diagrams * Familiarity with safety procedures, especially in landfill or hazardous environments * Reliable team player with a proactive mindset * Strong work ethic with flexibility for overtime or schedule changes

Preferred Experience

* 3-5 years of hands-on pipefitting experience * Experience with excavation/trenching within closed landfills is a plus * Construction industry background, especially in environmental projects
