Pipefitter/Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various materials. The Pipefitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all piping systems are built to specifications and function efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems.
• Assemble and install piping systems using various welding techniques, including stick welding and soldering.
• Fabricate and build custom pipe fittings as needed for specific projects.
• Perform tube bending to create custom shapes for piping installations.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of piping systems within larger projects.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
• Familiarity with welding processes, including stick welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in pipe assembly and installation.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this position.
