NOW HIRING – PIPEFITTER / HVAC MECHANIC

We are currently hiring an experienced Pipefitter / HVAC Mechanic for a commercial renovation project Downtown Tampa.

This position is ideal for a tradesman with strong experience in HVAC systems, chiller hookups, copper piping, and welding. We are looking for someone who can work independently, read plans, and help complete a high-profile project safely and efficiently.

Position Details

Location: Tampa, FL 33602 (Downtown)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Hours: 40+ Hours Per Week

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $31.00 Per Hour (Based on Experience)

Duration: 3–4 Month Project

Job Responsibilities* Install, modify, and repair piping systems for HVAC and mechanical equipment * Assist with chiller installation, piping, and equipment hookups * Install, braze, and connect copper piping systems * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications * Perform tack welding and assist with fabrication as needed * Install supports, hangers, valves, and mechanical components * Work alongside HVAC technicians and other trades to complete project milestones * Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety requirements

Qualifications* Pipefitting experience required * HVAC mechanical experience required * Chiller installation and hookup experience required * Copper piping and brazing experience * Tack welding experience * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings * Commercial construction experience preferred * Reliable transportation and basic hand tools required

Additional Information* Project is located at the Tampa Theater in Downtown Tampa. * Parking is approximately $14 per day. * Parking reimbursement may be considered after the first week for employees who prove to be a strong fit. * Employees may also have the option to meet at the office and ride to the project in a company vehicle. * Spanish-speaking support is available on...
