PipefitterPosition Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, fabricating, testing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems for commercial and industrial projects. The successful candidate must be able to read blueprints, work independently or as part of a team, and deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining a safe work environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, spool sheets, and P&IDs.
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, and fit pipe using hand and power tools.
• Install valves, pumps, fittings, supports, and related mechanical equipment.
• Perform pipe layout, fabrication, and field installation.
• Conduct pressure testing, leak testing, and system inspections.
• Repair, replace, and modify existing piping systems as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Install pipe supports, hangers, anchors, and brackets.
• Coordinate work with project managers, foremen, welders, and other trades.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Attend safety meetings and participate in daily job briefings.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of pipefitting experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, isometric drawings, and P&IDs.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial piping systems.
• Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC, CPVC, and other piping materials.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and pipe fabrication equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
