Duties

• Assist licensed plumbers in installing and repairing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Prepare work areas by gathering/transporting hand tools, power tools, and materials needed for plumbing tasks.
• Assist in keeping jobsite clean and safe
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to support accurate pipe installation and system setup.
• Follow all safety protocols related to power tool operation, hand tool use, and construction site procedures.
• Follow directives of truck boss to complete jobs.

Qualifications

• Construction experience or background in general construction work is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing principles, pipe installation techniques, and building code compliance.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and pipe threading equipment a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of plumbing systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Commitment to safety practices including power tool safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must have own hand tools.
