Job Description PURPOSE SUMMARY. Perform skilled work in the maintenance, repair, modification and construction of plumbing systems such as water, sewage, steam, natural gas, air, sprinkler, boiler, wells, swimming pool systems and related plumbing equipment. Perform independent preventive maintenance and emergency repairs county wide. Help to maintain and provide the safe condition and operation of all plumbing systems to promote workplace and environmental safety.ESSENTIAL DUTIES.* Receive and complete work orders of interior plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders. * Receive and complete work orders of exterior plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders. * Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. * Install, repair, or replace domestic appliances. * Install, repair, or replace commercial boilers, sump pumps, and roof drains. * Install, test, and repair all sizes of backflow prevention devices. * Trouble shoot and repair natural gas supply systems.
