Position Summary

The Journeyman Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of plumbing systems and fixtures across a diverse portfolio of commercial office buildings, retail centers, industrial properties, and mixed-use developments. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building plumbing systems while providing outstanding service to tenants and property managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial plumbing systems, including water, sewer, gas, and drainage systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing infrastructure to minimize downtime and costly repairs.
• Install and replace plumbing fixtures, piping, valves, water heaters, backflow prevention devices, pumps, and related equipment.
• Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies, including leaks, sewer backups, clogged drains, and water service interruptions.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial restroom systems, flush valves, sinks, faucets, and drinking fountains.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with property managers, maintenance technicians, contractors, and tenants to complete work efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
