Position Summary

The Journeyman Plumber installs, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs plumbing and gas-fitting systems in commercial and institutional buildings across CFSI's DMV service area — office buildings, mixed-use properties, healthcare and institutional facilities, and multi-family properties. This role works independently and as part of a crew, follows applicable plumbing and gas codes, and represents CFSI's reputation for reliability directly in front of the property managers and facility directors who are our customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial plumbing systems — domestic water, sanitary and storm drainage, backflow prevention, water heaters, boilers, and related fixtures and equipment.
• Install and service gas piping and fixtures in accordance with applicable code and jurisdictional licensing requirements.
• Perform drain and sewer cleaning, including camera inspection and diagnosis of underground and interior lines.
• Read and work from blueprints, schematics, and specifications; prepare field sketches as needed.
• Respond to scheduled service calls, preventive maintenance visits, and emergency/after-hours callouts on commercial properties.
