Position Summary

Installs, maintains, and/or repairs plumbing systems and related equipment. All while promoting and exhibiting World Class Guest Service to all the Isleta Resort and Casino employees and guests.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Familiarization with safety, work place, education and understanding of OSHA standards, CPR and First Aid.
• Responds to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns
• Maintains the water and drainage systems at the Isleta properties and associated support facilities.
• Inspects systems to ascertain cause of malfunctions or repairs. Replaces plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, commodes, water heaters, and hot water tanks.
• Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers or leaky faucets, mending or replacing burst or leaky pipes, and opening clogged drains.
• Measures, cuts threads, and installs water/sewer pipe and fittings; may prepare estimates of material, time, labor, and may order supplies.
• May instruct, or lead lesser skilled tradespersons.
• May be required to install, maintain, and repair gas/heating systems and perform gas-fitting work.
