Position Highlights

The University is looking for a Plumber III. The position performs highly skilled level plumbing work involving the installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of complex commercial and institutional plumbing systems. This position requires expert knowledge of plumbing codes, mechanical room systems, specialty valves, and related equipment, with the ability to diagnose issues ranging from routine service calls to large-scale system failures. The role operates independently, provides technical guidance to others as needed, and ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform journeyman-level installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of commercial and institutional plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, gas piping, fixtures, and mechanical room equipment (steam and chilled water).
