Under limited supervision the Plumber Lead oversees and leads work teams while prioritizing, assigning and coordinating daily staff activities. The Plumber Lead performs a variety of technical tasks related to installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing heating, water and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. TYPICAL DUTIES:

1. *Prioritizes and assigns tasks, including coordination of work schedules to ensure coverage for special projects and customer satisfaction.

2. *Trains and assists workers in performing duties and tasks, working alongside them on the same tasks.

3. *Understands and trains workers in the safe and proper use of tools and equipment to meet quality and safety standards.

4. *Maintains supplies, stock and equipment to ensure proper operation and safe condition.

5. *Monitors progress of tasks and inspects completed work to ensure quality.

6. *Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and replaces all types of plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, urinals, flush valves, bathtubs, faucets, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals, dishwashers and water softeners.
