Plumber/Mechanic - Special Projects

JOB SUMMARY

Install Plumbing systems with an emphasis on quality, productivity, training, and teamwork. This position reports to the Leadman/Foreman/Superintendent on site.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years of experience in commercial Plumbing
• Education: High School Diploma /G.E.D and/or Plumbing Trade school
• Licenses: Journeyman Plumber, Backflow Certification, OSHA 30, CPR / First Aid, Valid Driver’s License
• This job does have a degree of physical requirements.
• Installation technician must be able to lift 75lbs, stand for extended periods of time, work off ladders and lifts and operate hand tools for the length of the shift.
• Must be prepared to work in indoor and outdoor environments and inclement weather conditions.
• Must be flexible with working hours (nights & weekend work hours are required)

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Clock in and out daily and use call out line when required * Proficient at layout and installation of hangers * Understand what tools to use for each task including but not limited to; + Operating power tools + Operating threading and groove machine. + Operate specialty tools such as freeze machine, wet tap tool and tee drill. * Create material lists * Possess clear knowledge base of plumbing/hydronic concepts and applies standard commercial basic materials and methods applications for performing proficient installation of; + Grading waste and vent pipe + Soldering/brazing copper pipe + Copper pipe, PVC, ca...
