Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential and commercial buildings.
• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install plumbing components.
• Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for plumbing installation and repair.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing tasks with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems on construction sites or in existing structures.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when handling large pipes or materials required for complex installations.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman's license in any state. Hawaii Journeyman's license to be obtained within 6 months.
• Proven construction experience with a focus on construction plumbing projects.
• Valid journeyman plumber certification or equivalent credential demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge including gas piping systems, schematics reading, pipe threading, and blueprint interpretation.
