Duties

• Assist licensed plumbers with pipe installation, system maintenance, and repairs on construction sites
• Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and equipment such as hand tools and power tools
• Follow safety protocols including power tool safety and proper handling of equipment during all tasks
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to support plumbing installations and remodeling projects
• Support the assembly of plumbing fixtures and components according to building code compliance standards
• Help with pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and installation under supervision
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to OSHA regulations and field service best practices

Skills

• Some construction experience with a focus on plumbing or related trades preferred
• Knowledge of construction plumbing systems, pipe installation techniques, and remodeling processes
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and carpentry basics
• Field service experience or handyman skills that demonstrate versatility in construction tasks
