Plumber (Septic/Underground utilities)

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain septic systems, underground utilities, and associated piping according to project specifications and schematics
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and troubleshooting
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively on construction sites
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety standards
• Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation of underground utilities and septic components
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment during all phases of construction

Experience

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a focus on septic systems or underground utilities
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and schematics reading
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices and heavy lifting procedures
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Hands-on experience with construction site activities such as remodeling, assembly work, or handyman tasks is a plus
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is advantageous
