Position Overview

T47 International is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to support operations in Charlottesville, VA. This role requires an active Secret clearance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical plumbing expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in secure environments.

Clearance

: Secret Required, Top-Secret Preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, and gas lines
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues in residential, commercial, or government facilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures
• Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal codes and safety standards
• Maintain compliance with security protocols associated with cleared facilities
• Document work performed and maintain service records

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance, Top-Secret Preferred
• Proven experience as a plumber (journeyman-level preferred)
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, equipment, and best practices
• Ability to pass background checks and maintain clearance status
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Plumber license (preferred)
• Experience working on federal or government facilities
• Familiarity with secure or controlled environments

Work Environment

• Work performed in secure government or controlled-access facilities
• May require lifting, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces
• Must adhere to strict safety and security procedures at all times
