Plumber Technician

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage components on construction sites and commercial buildings
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs efficiently
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
• Conduct remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and integrating new systems into existing structures
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to HVAC systems or plumbing failures using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
• Follow construction plans precisely, ensuring all work meets safety standards and building codes

Experience

• Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong background in construction plumbing and remodeling projects
• Hands-on experience with pipe threading, schematics interpretation, welding, and assembly tasks
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematic diagrams, and technical manuals related to plumbing systems
• Knowledge of HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing integration is preferred
