Plumber Technician

Job Summary

Drainzilla Plumbing is seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining residential and light commercial plumbing systems while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, water heaters, gas lines, and drainage systems
• Perform repairs, replacements, and installations of plumbing fixtures, piping, and equipment
• Install and service water heaters (tank and tankless), toilets, faucets, disposals, and drains
• Conduct drain cleaning using augers, hydro-jetting, and camera inspections
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and plumbing codes
• Ensure all work complies with local and state plumbing codes
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and pricing
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and service reports
• Represent Drainzilla Plumbing in a professional and courteous manner at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum [2–5] years of plumbing experience preferred
• Valid plumbing license or apprentice certification (as required by state/local regulations)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces
• Familiarity with residential and light commercial plumbing systems

Preferred Skills

• Experience with tankless water heaters
• Drain cleaning and camera inspection experience
• Gas line experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
