Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing layouts accurately.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as pipe threaders, wrenches, drills, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly to ensure leak-free connections.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals like carpenters and HVAC technicians to coordinate project activities.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems for compliance with safety codes and standards; troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Lift heavy materials safely and perform remodeling or handyman tasks as needed to support project goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge of piping systems, pipe threading, welding techniques, and schematic interpretation.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
• Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols and heavy lifting procedures.
