Job Description
To repair, replace, or otherwise improve plumbing, boiler, and various related hospital systems.
- Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot problems in a timely efficient manner.
- Completes work assignments thoroughly and in a timely manner.
- Completes annual in-service.
- Attends meetings and participates in departmental in-services.
- Participates in performance improvement and information management active.
- Responsible for ordering material and maintaining inventory.
- Performs P.M. related work.
- Performs project / construction work when needed.
- Repairs all types of plumbing fixtures, valves, broken pipes, re-pipes system, make - up feed tanks, cooling towers, pumps, H.V.A.C. related piping and water pressures, boiler piping, threading, welding, etc.
- Works overtime when hospital emergency occurs.
- Performs all other duties as required.
Position Requirements:
- This position requires a minimum formal education of High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years job-related experience.
- Desired (not required) criteria include: Or related trade school.
Union: BCTC
Mon - Fri / 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Hourly Rate:$34.1895
