Duties

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and drainage components on construction sites or commercial facilities
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support installation or repair projects
• Diagnose plumbing issues using mechanical knowledge; execute repairs or replacements as needed
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed in compliance with safety standards

Skills

• Strong foundation in construction plumbing, including pipe fitting, pipe threading, and system schematics interpretation
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations
• Familiarity with carpentry techniques useful for remodeling or custom installations
• Valid driver’s license (DL) preferred for transportation between job sites
• Handyman experience or previous work in remodeling enhances versatility on diverse projects
