EMC Mechanical Services is searching for a Commercial Plumbing Apprentice to join our Construction division! The Commercial Plumber Apprentice is responsible for assisting Commercial Plumbing Mechanics and Commercial Plumbing Foremen with all aspects of installation of commercial plumbing, water, and gas systems in a construction setting.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and safely use required tools and special equipment.
• Select the type and size of pipe required.
• Locate and mark positions for plumbing connections and fixtures.
• Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures, and equipment.
• Assemble and install plumbing valves and fittings.
• Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

* High school diploma or equivalent is required. * At least 1 year of prior commercial plumbing experience is preferred. * Currently own a personal set of tools required for the trade, or willing to obtain upon hire. * Strong work ethic and a drive to advance in the trade. * Safety and customer service oriented. * Fluent English-speaking and writing skills. * Neat, clean, and professional appearance. * Organized and detail oriented with strong multi-tasking capabilities. * Reliable transportation to and from jobsites. * Able to utilize basic math skills. * Physical Requirements + Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb. + Must be able to lift up to 30...
