Duties

• Assist lead plumbers with pipe installation, fitting, and assembly using hand tools and power tools
• Support the setup and teardown of plumbing systems according to blueprints and schematics
• Maintain power tool safety standards during all tasks and handle hand tools with precision
• Aid in mechanical tasks required for plumbing projects
• Participate in construction site activities including remodeling, maintenance, and system troubleshooting
• Follow building code compliance guidelines to ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Assist with plumbing system maintenance and repair to ensure optimal operation of installed systems

Qualifications

• Construction experience or familiarity with construction site environments preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe installation, and mechanical concepts
• Experience with welding, pipe threading, and using power tools safely is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Strong understanding of building code compliance related to plumbing and HVAC systems
• Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing system maintenance and repair
• Handyman experience or background in remodeling can be advantageous
• Good basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in pipe fitting
• Ability to interpret technical schematics and diagrams effectively
• Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills
