Job Summary

Brian Trematore Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer to support our growing workload of large commercial and residential mechanical projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of plumbing systems, experience working on large-scale projects, and the ability to create and maintain accurate construction and as-built drawings. This position plays a critical role in supporting field operations, coordinating project documentation, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

• Assist in the planning, execution, and oversight of plumbing projects from project award through completion.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and project documentation.
• Attend project meetings and communicate project updates to management and field personnel.
• Assist with procurement and material tracking.

Drafting & As-Built Documentation

• Create, revise, and maintain plumbing drawings, schematics, and coordination layouts.
• Develop accurate as-built drawings reflecting field-installed conditions.
• Coordinate with field personnel to verify measurements and installation details.
• Maintain drawing revisions and document control throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical & Administrative Support

• Provide plumbing-related technical support to project teams.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and close-out documentation.
• Maintain organized project files, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
• Support field staff with troubleshooting and coordination efforts.
