We are currently seeking a Plumbing Designer to join our growing MEP Engineering team. This position will work closely with senior engineers and other team members to deliver high-quality projects that meet client goals and adhere to the firm's standards. This position requires understanding of all project phases including schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction contract administration.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform analysis, design, and system selection for building applications with support of a senior designer or engineer.
• Ensure conformance of design with applicable building codes and project sustainability goals.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
• Coordinate the submittal of documentation for permitting/regulatory review with multiple local agencies and jurisdictions.
• Participate in the feasibility, conceptual, and early planning of projects through final design, construction and post-occupancy with the guidance of a senior designer or engineer.
• Clearly and concisely convey technical solutions and performance objectives while ensuring project alignment with client goals, project design, sustainability objectives, schedule, budget, constructability and post-occupancy performance.
