Position Summary

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily service and installation schedules,

communicating with customers and technicians, and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and

professionally. This position serves as the communication hub between customers, field staff,

and management to maximize productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Scheduling & Dispatching

 Schedule and dispatch plumbing service technicians and installers to customer locations.

 Monitor daily schedules and adjust routes to maximize efficiency.

 Assign emergency and priority service calls as needed.

 Coordinate technician availability, vacations, training, and call-outs.

 Maintain real-time communication with field staff throughout the day.

Customer Service

 Answer incoming customer calls in a professional and friendly manner.

 Schedule service appointments and provide appointment confirmations.

 Notify customers of technician arrival times and schedule changes.

 Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.

 Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism.

Administrative Support

 Create and update work orders in the company software.

 Verify job information, customer details, and scope of work.

 Track completed jobs and ensure proper documentation is received.

 Assist with invoicing preparation and job closeout procedures.

 Maintain accurate records and dispatch logs.

Team Coordination

 Communicate daily priorities and schedule changes to technicians.

 Coordinate with warehouse staff regarding materials and equipment needs.
