Plumbing Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Plumbing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing plumbing systems for various projects. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, as well as proficiency in CAD software and an understanding of relevant codes and standards. The Plumbing Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all plumbing designs meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Create detailed schematics and technical drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo.
• Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot plumbing issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with project managers to establish project scheduling and timelines.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform system design evaluations and modifications.
• Engage in drafting and documentation of plumbing designs, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Apply FEA (Finite Element Analysis) techniques to assess the integrity of plumbing systems.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for automation of plumbing systems where applicable.
• Work with Simulink, LabVIEW, Arduino, and CNC technologies as needed for system integration.

Skills

• Proficient in mechanical engineering principles with a strong focus on plumbing design.
• Experience with project scheduling tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills for conducting root cause analysis on plumbing-related issues.
