EXAMPLE OF DUTIES * Reviews plans, blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with Michigan Plumbing Code, ICC A117.1 standards and City codes. * Performs on-site inspections of plumbing systems to ensure proper installation and conformity to approved plans * Attends pre-construction meetings with architects, engineers, owners and contractors. * Advises plumbing contractors, builders and the public regarding plumbing codes, barrier free standards, permits, and the proper installation of materials, etc. * Prepares correspondence, reports and maintains detailed records. * Review sewer bid specifications for city sewer loan program. * Perform all other related duties as assigned.
