Plumbing Installer

Michigan Mechanical Ventures is a fast-growing contractor in Southeast Michigan looking to add talented and driven individuals to our team. We are a Family-owned Plumbing/HVAC company looking for a full-time Install Plumber/Service Plumber to join our team.

Qualifications of the Plumbing Installer/Service Plumber

* Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. * A general understanding of piping practices, drainage systems, and heating equipment. * The ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools. * Knowledge of building and construction. * Thorough and detail oriented.

Responsibilities of the Plumbing Installer/Service Plumber

* Installing, Repairing and Maintaining Pipes, Fixtures and water distribution and wastewater disposal. * Respond to emergency plumbing calls such as clogged drains, broken water lines and frozen pipes. * Maintain parts inventory and distribution in accordance with contract requirements. * Locate and mark pipes and connection positions and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors using plumbing equipment. * Fill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to ensure system is not leaking.

Salary

$18.00 - $40.00 per hour.

Experience

* Plumbing: 1 year. (Preferred).
