Fortified Plumbing and Drain services thousands of homes & businesses that continue to call us back due largely to our great employees. Experienced plumbers are needed to join our team and service our customer base. Our plumbers will do pin-hole pipe repairs, faucet repairs, bathroom / kitchen rough-ins, drain cleaning, to water and sewer service sales and replacements. You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge of boilers, tankless water heaters, CPVC, PVC, ProPress, ProPEX, and various other products pipes and materials.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to the required angle
• Install/replace pipes, fittings valves, fixtures—such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, well pumps
• Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed
• Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
• Tests plumbing systems for leaks and other problems
• Analyze the problem and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair
• Choose plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses (Residential vs commercial)
• Follow health and safety standards and complies with State and Local building codes
• Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts

Our requirements include: - Residential service plumbing experience - Michigan Journeyman or Master Plumber license - Clean background check - Ability to pass a drug test - Valid driver's license - Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
