Position Summary

The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings. This position requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Essential Job Duties

* Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, drainage problems, and fixture malfunctions * Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drain systems, gas lines, and plumbing fixtures * Install and service water heaters, sinks, faucets, disposals, and related plumbing equipment * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings as needed * Assemble, cut, fit, and connect pipes and plumbing components * Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable plumbing codes and safety standards * Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used * Keep service vehicles, tools, and work areas clean and organized * Communicate effectively with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and completed work * Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times * Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service calls * Perform other duties as assigned
